Troubleshooting Pneumatics


Course Description

This 32-hour workshop provides troubleshooting techniques for pneumatic components and pneumatic circuits. Participants will learn the function and operation of various pneumatic components. Company must provide pneumatic schematics. Pneumatic component selection and pneumatic circuits used in training will be built around these schematics.

  • Rodless Cylinders

  • Manual Directional Control Valves
  • Electrical Directional Control Valves
  • Check Valves
  • Flow Controls
  • Shuttle Valves
  • Vacuum End Effectors
  • Troubleshooting Pneumatic Components

Pneumatic Circuit Troubleshooting

Participants will use pneumatic schematics to build pneumatic circuits for troubleshooting exercises. Faults and faulty components will be incorporated into the circuits. PLC control of directional control valves may be added to circuits based on schematics provided be company.

Course Requirements

Company must provide company specific or vendor schematics for training at least 30 days or more in advance. Company SME’s will be asked to provide an operational overview of the schematics in advance of training.
